With all of the innovations in Android, developers have not had the opportunity to take advantage of one of the hottest technologies – full body motion control. This presentation will review opportunities for Android developers to integrate new technologies that enable full body motion control on any Android platform. One such technology is entirely software based and requires no hardware other than a device’s standard front-facing camera. It enables any standard 2D camera to serve as a 3D sensor for motion analysis and control, opening the immersive experiences of motion control beyond the limitations of expensive sensor hardware and further advancing the human-machine interface.
