After his various long stints working overseas, in restaurants such as, Mugaritz, Narisawa and Quince,
Chef-Owner Terence Chuah envisioned a casual dining concept where all food created and served in
South Union Park are hand crafted in-house. This is to allow diners to experience and appreciate the
quality and flavours in handcrafted food.
South Union Park is built around an open kitchen concept, as Terence believe the kitchen is the heart
and soul of any home and restaurant. This allows diners to have a feel of the vibrancy and passion
within the kitchen which shines from his team. Additionally, South Union Park strives to cultivate the
culture of handcrafted food in young budding chefs and to showcase their talents.
