Costume
We used a checkered shirt because its popular amongst youth. Also the colours are to relate to todays fashion, from River Island.
Costume
Each of these t-shirts are to represent the most popular forms of social media.Each has its own slogan on it to show what it is most commonly used for.
CONNOTATION - The irony of the shirts are to show, where we are able to post our opinions, we are not free – but controlled.
LocationWe used the greenery area on the school groups as we cannot get people from outside of school to be in our photo. We thought it had a nice background and is simple: not taking away from the photo.

Props
Our prop is this ‘Pick Me’ sign.Its used to help present the message of choice – but a kind of manipulative and luring way. This is supposed to be ironic in the way we think we have a choice to pick.
Location
We changed our setting to this wall – we thought it looked more urban. Nature as a background we thought wasn’t as suited as a brick wall is to the documentary. Nature connotes the wrong message.

What do they represent?
The teenage girl is to represent any typical
youth today. She is not to suit any major subculture within
contemporary society.
These social network are to present a hegemonic
online world – they are to seem manipulative and seductive, drawing its
audience in.
