Introducing Mobile Verification and SMS Voting for the Grand Finale

Mobile Verification

Why Mobile Verification?To ensure fairness during the Grand Finale, we will be verifying the mobile number of a

user on the site.

How does it work?

Start the verification process by clicking on the vote button of any of the finalist that

you want to vote for.

You can key in your own mobile number or change your mobile number

Request for an OTP (One time password) and we will send one to your mobile number in the next few minutes!

Key in your OTP and we will do the rest of the verification process.

You can close the box when you have requested for an OTP. Simply click on the vote button again to key in your OTP.

Your OTP is valid only for 4 hours. You can request for another OTP again if your OTP has expired.

You will only have 3 tries to key in your OTP. After that, you will have to request for a new OTP.

Once verified, you will not need to verify your mobile again and you will be able to

cast votes during the Grand Finale!

What if I want to change my mobile number?

Changing your mobile number is simple! Simply go to your profile settings page.

Click on Change and you will be guided through the verification process again!

Why SMS Voting?To allow any person in India to participate

in the Grand Finale, we will allow non users of the site to cast vote via SMS.

How does it work?All you need to do is to send a text message* MHRISE P [Finalist Number] to

*Due to regulatory guidelines regarding the usage of SMS, voting in the Finale is limited to mobile subscribers in India.

** Some operators in Jammu & Kashmir may not allow users to cast votes via SMS.

How does it work?All you need to do is to send a text message

Each person is entitled to 1 vote per project, either via SMS or on Spark the Rise.

You will receive a response on your phone depending on the status of your vote.

Once your vote is successfully cast, and if you have an account on Spark the Rise that has the same mobile number, your account will be verified!
