Craft
A beer born out of a conversation
between Master Brewers Alan
Pugsley of Shipyard Brewing Co.
and Simon Yates of Marston’s to
craft a classic American Style Pale
Ale to satisfy the growing thirst of
British drinkers for American Craft
Beers.
Discover Shipyard American Pale
Ale bursting with fruity citrus hop
aroma and flavour. Dry hopped
with a quartet of four American
hop varieties – Chinook, Cascade,
Columbus & Centennial.
Our Craft Lager, created by
Master Brewer Simon Yates,
inspired by blending new world
hop character beers with old
worldy continental lagers. Crafted
with lager malt and a hop blend
of German Hallertau Magnum &
Traditional, Slovenian Styrian
and dry hopped with British
Admiral & Boadicea varieties to
deliver a refreshing sessionable
lager with subtle orange flavour
A pale ale with a twist from
Simon Yates, Master Brewer
at our Park Brewery in
Wolverhampton. Inspired by
certain American brewers, the
inclusion of rye crystal malt
adds a distinctive spicy and
nutty malt flavour to a pale ale
packed full of fruity hop
character, from a cocktail of
five different American hop
varieties
Created by brewers Jon
Tillson and Dave Carter at the
Wychwood Brewery in Witney
to deliver their take on the
American influenced style of
pale ale, made with a blend of
darker malts. This produces a
deceptively darker beer with a
refreshingly big fruity hop
character from a blend of six
different hop varieties.

The ingredients of the Gruit have been carefully chosen, however, to complement and
accentuate the hop flavours – spicy, citrusy, peppery and floral. Banks’s Botanical Beer –
