HONEYWELL LTS101-850B-2Honeywell has delivered over 2,100 LTS101 engineswhich have accumulated over 10 million flight hoursto date. In 2014 the unscheduled removal rate for theLTS101serieswas0.18per1000flighthours.850B-2enginedesignimprovementshavetransformedtheLTS101enginewhichhasalreadyproventodeliverworld class reliability and performance. In 2014 theunscheduled removal rate for theLTS101-850B-2was0.066per1000flighthours.Twin engine climb rate improved 40% to 10,000 feet.At typical operating weights, single engine ceilingincreased from 1,500 to greater than 5,000 feet. One-minute One Engine Inoperative (OEI) power increased22%,providinggreateroperationalsafety.MorepowerwithlittletonodifferenceinSpecificFuelConsumption(SFC).The 850B-2 engine provides additional power in allflight regimes which increases helicopter capability,increasessafetyandcomplieswithEASAregulations.
