Placental Mammals – develop inside mothers body; diverse, subdivided based on eating and movement ex: carnivores (eat meat), marine (swim), rodents (gnaw), rabbits/hare (hop), trunk, insect eaters, toothless, hoofed, flying (wing), primates (large brain)
