One door at the far end used as back stage entry to the stage for actors

ORCHESTRA PIT/SOUND/LIGHTING PIT The orchestra pit is divided into two equal halves. One half for the sound controls and other half for lighting controls

The orchestral pit has a provision for 4 people to regulate the sound and lights simultaneously as the performance is on going

STAGE

Since the stage area has a higher ceiling than the rest of the auditorium, more absorptive are required in this area.

The back wall of the stage is treated with Wood Wool Panels (acoustically absorptive material) and is typically black in color.

ANCILLARY

2 greens room –male and female

1 common room

2 Individual toilet

REFLECTED CEILINGMaterials –Gyptone Tiles

Dimensions-600 x 600 mm

The tiles have perforations which together with the acoustic backing tissue provide good acoustic properties.

FLOORINGMaterials – Carpet 80% 20% Nylon

Some practical techniques to control Structure borne sound are by installing thick carpeting and padding, disconnecting floors and ceilings and remotely balanced ceiling systems. The floors and ceilings are disconnected structurally with resilient underlayment.

All the hard surfaces in the room are covered with carpets. Absorptive wall partitions and acoustical foam coverings are used to dampen sound energy.
