Agenda• AGCO Corporation Overview
• Why PPM and Why Microsoft?
• Implementation Approach
• Next Steps and Expanding Outside of IT
• We had a failing initial implementation of Project Server
• We met with them (at the last Project Conference) and discussed our business needs
• We were looking for a partner able tonot only deploy a Tool, but also that had proven abilities with Organizationalchange aspects and Process definition and best practices
• The proposals from UMT articulated clearly what we needed to do in order to make the project a success
Why did we choose UMT?

Implementation Approach / Timeline- Our implementation took 4 months
- Requirements and design were performed between the AGCO and UMT teams in a series of workshops for specific work streams i.e. Financial Management
- Activities split between AGCO and UMT i.e. Data gathering by AGCO and training by UMT
- We tried to stay away from code development and to use the base products
- After go live there was a support / onboarding phase included in the project
- We named our solution ‘GPS’ – Global Portfolio System - to give the solution its own identity

How far have we progressed?
ManagementReporting
Lessons LearnedFuture: Look for a tool that can deliver against the future direction of your organization, not a replacement for what is used today
Data Gathering: Identifying of project and resource data takes time to consolidate and there may be gaps at go live
Training: Enforce mandatory attendance of training
Management Driven: Ensure you have a message from a ‘C’ level Executive to say that the process and tool must be adopted to ensure compliance
Support: Pro-actively follow up with key users (PMs / RMs) to drive success
Communication: Communicate as much as possible with user base
Environment: A dedicated SharePoint farm for Project Server
