How to cross between parked carsRemember you SHOULD NOT cross between parked cars unless you absolutely have to.

But if you do, you can do it safely if you follow these instructions.

1.STOP on the pavement, behind the kerb and find a suitable space between the parked vehicles.

2. Before you step into the roadmake sure the car is not going to

move off.

Look for these 4 signs

If you are satisfied the car is not going to move off, walk to

the EDGE of the cars,

And then STOP

When it is safe, cross in a straight line.

Keep LOOKING and LISTENING while you cross.
