the highly successful mid-century collection has
been extended to include new pieces, inspired by iconic
1950s european and american designers. the range of
bedside tables, chests, a desk, sofa, chaise longue,
armchairs and footstools is shown in the stylised context
of a glamorous 1950s film set - not difficult to imagine
lana turner and cary grant just out of shot.
retaining the company’s signature simplicity,
the clean lines, graceful curves and subtle colours of
this collection sit perfectly within today’s sophisticated
interiors. all the furniture is hand-made and hand painted
and upholstered pieces can be covered in the company’s
range of upholstery fabrics or in customers’ own.
the mid-century ’50s collection continues the company’s
ethos of meticulous research, sourcing of authentic
materials and unbeatable craftsmanship. chelsea textiles
interpret vintage designs today to create antique
furniture for the future.
