Short description of the activity and how I am going to carry it out in class

Children will use a simple map to give and ask for directions to places in the town. The teacher explains to the class in L1 that sometimes when we visit a town for the first time we might not know where places are. He /she invites them to tell him/her how they might find their way around using a map and asking someone for directions. The activity works on intrinsic values: children like getting around their own town; it is also integrative and instrumental: (very useful if you get lost).
