EMERGENCY Siren

The University of New Mexico Emergency Alert Sirens are sounded if

it is dangerous to be outdoors, such as a severe lightning storm

or environmental hazard

During an alert, people who are not on campus and hear the siren

should not come on campus. People who are on campus should

seek shelter in place or the nearest building and await further

instructions.
