Foundation and partners
The Charter of Foundation was signed in June 2008.
Its seven-member Board was appointed in August 2008 by the Finnish Government and representatives of external funding.
Contributions as per the Charter of Foundation:
Finnish Government contributes € 500 million towards the basic capital of the University.
Donations of at least € 200 million are to be collected.
Additional Government funding will be allocated to Aalto University for years 2010-2019.
