Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but

rather be healed.

Matthew 21:23-25

… the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to him as he was

teaching, and said, “By what authority are you doing these things, and who

gave you this authority?” 24 Jesus answered them, “I also will ask you one question, and if you tell me the answer,

then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, from where did it

come? From heaven or from man?” …

Everything is derived from

two sources…

We need to keep asking, is

it from God or man?

Give Care Not To Get Priorities Upside Down

We can follow this pattern of animals tended but not men… Do we…

• Tend physical selves but not spiritual?• Tend education but not spiritual growth?• Tend family but not our spiritual family?• Tend work but not our “service of worship”?

Acts 17:30-31

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he

commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because he has

fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a

man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to

all by raising him from the dead.”

2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that

each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the

body, whether good or evil.
