I think of the coolest places in my head and I try to imagine the lighting...

And then I build them out...

FIRST:

Create a projeCt in one’s head that embodies Creative environmental imagination... so where better to start than a mine... so i ask, Can my mine be on another planet? why not!!!

Second:I wonder around this world for a bit,

thinking of the atmosphere, the build-ing situations... or even the mining

possibilities...

third:

then i try to imagine what is out there...

who would live there?

what makes up “there”?

what is it like to live there?

how Can “i” get there?

i would live here...

fourth: What can be done here?

As I explore the surface... and my mind.... for a bit...

I contemplate day and night, cool and hot... Hard at work...

Or just resting from the day!

fifth:

And as my imagination wonders....

I crawl back into the cave from which I emerged...

I create HOME... in all sense of a foreign escape...

lastly:

Because I like to imagine such strange and wonderous worlds, I must first master my own... and painting from life is going to be

the key in doing this... and it’s all about finding the familiar to

“inspire” imagination...and the proCess Continues...
