• Its fauna is characterised by the presence of mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians: among them we have the Appennine wolf, the Marsican Brown Bear, the Peregrine and Lanner Falcon, the Appennine Chamois, many deers, roe-deers and wild boars. But also the Golden Eagle and different types of Salamanders and Vipers.

History of Montenerodomo • Remains of megalithic

walls confirm the presence of an “oppido”;

• In the forth and third century before Christ the economic and cultural centre was moved more down, so it arose Juvanum.

• IV century: Caldora family, Di Capua family and D’Aquino family.
