EXISTENCE’’
Our existence is an
existence
through the
others
Human activity is interwoven with an orderly field of meaning, but this orderly field of meaning is at our disposal only through others, through society. This is true in the areas of
work, play, sense perception, thinking, and feelings.
“In
WORK”He interacts with nature.
He makes use of tools and a working space.
Field of meaning centered around him as a needy being.
“In the
FIELD OF PLAY’’The playing area, the objects that are given special sense, the possibilities of the human body , the tools (racket, cards, etc.) all form a unity of meaning that is called a GAME”
“Our sense
perception Seeing, Hearing, Tasting, Smelling,
Touching”
Seeing takes place within the structure of a figure-horizon (Gestalt).

I may not be aware of this structure, but the green grass I see outside my window is a figure that stands against the background of the houses of the subdivision, the blue sky and white clouds above it. The senses themselves from a unity of meaning around my body. When I hear the alarm of my clock in the morning, I spontaneously look for it, touch it to switch the alarm off, and look forward to the smell and taste of instant coffee.

haphazard and disorderly it may seem at first, takes place in an orderly field of worldly meaning.
When faced with problems and questions, we seek for solution and clarity by thinking, a thinking in action (practognosis) or a thinking on a reflective level.The latter involves the use of concepts, of language.

Our affective life and our emotions may appear to be chaotic in contrast to thinking.

FEELINGS
In reality they form an order quite distinct from that of our cognitive life, what Blaise Pascal and Max Scheler call an ordre du Coeur (order of the heart).

Our emotions, affects, striving are generally concerned with values embodied in the world; they betray the hierarchy of values we hold. And as we begin to live in an orderly world, our affective life and emotions gradually assume a more distinct form.

What needs to be shown now is that this orderly field of worldly meaning in human activity depends upon our fellowmen and is in turn dependent upon the human person.
WE ARE PRODUCT OF OUR PAST”
The world would be meaningless without the human person.
We gain entrance to this field of meaning in action, speech and art through our contact with fellowmen”.

The insight that togetherness is a value in itself brings home the point that our existence is not just being-through-others but also a being-for-others.
We exist through others by making use of products that are the fruit of the labors of others. But we also work for others”.

is necessary for us to build our future. But self-confidence is not possible for us to attain without others having confidence in us. And for others to have confidence in us, we have to show them that we are capable of doing something meaningful for them.
