1. Provide Value

Each video should showcase your best content, a snippet of your best-kept secrets and an overview of the industry’s best practices.

2. Ask for Subscribers

The simplest way to gain subscribers is to ask them in each video. Create a compelling call to action that tells them what to do, how to do

it and why they should do it.

3. Keep It Short & Sweet

Limit the length of each video to under 5 minutes. The best converted videos are no more than 3 minutes in length.

4. End On A High Note

End each video with a smile and keep your visitors eager to watch more and perhaps even subscribe.

5. Create a YouTube Channel Trailer

In March 2013, YouTube introduced a great video marketing tool for creators in the form of a 'Channel' or 'Subscribe' trailer. This clip can be

uploaded to your channel’s home page and will auto-play if a non-subscriber arrives on that landing page. It stops auto-playing if the

viewer subscribes (or turns it off every time).

6. Be Consistent and Stay On Schedule

If your YouTube video viewers know that you will post a video around the same time every day, or every week, they will be more keen to tune

in.
