Program

• The aim of the new program is to treat the major photodamaged photoaged face, décolleté and hand-related imperfections - pigmentation, laxity, rhytides and volume, using 4 Harmony XL advanced light and laser technology.

4

Objective

• The objective of the 460 rejuvenating program is to remove photodamaged photoaged skin pigmentations and superficial blood vessels, tighten the laxed aged skin, décolleté and the dorsal aspect of the hand

Background (I)

• Face, décolleté and hands are one of the first parts of the body to show signs of aging because they receive so much exposure.

• Sunlight, the elements and the natural aging process all contribute to the development of darkened spots, precancerous growths and a loss of fatty tissue.

Background (II)

• Veins become much more prominent with deepening color enhancement. The anatomy of the tendon becomes more accentuated.

• Skin wrinkles become much more prevalent with the loss of fullness and elasticity in the deep dermal layer.

• Intermetacarpal wasting becomes more enhanced with volume loss.

Photdamage

• The most typical cause of darkened areas of skin, brown spots or areas of discoloration is unprotected sun exposure. Once incorrectly referred to as liver spots, these pigment problems are not connected with the liver.
