During the week of November 18-22, 2013;
multiple Pinellas County Departments contributed
examples for a display of geographic information
systems (GIS) maps throughout the Pinellas County
Clearwater Courthouse lobby. This display provided
a forum for users of GIS technology to
demonstrate real-world applications that are
making a difference in our society.
These displays were such a success that the eGIS team was asked to keep
a variety of maps on an updatable permanent display in the Clearwater
Courthouse Main Lobby. Maps will be interchanged about every 2 months.
Attention Pinellas County Government Departments: If your department
would like some maps included in the interchangeable permanent display
please email the eGIS Bureau at egisbureau@pinellascounty.org for
additional information.
Shown here is an example of the displays that were available during this
year’s exhibit.
