Blue Goose is a beautifully presented 57ft “go anywhere” size traditional style narrowboat built in 2004 by Piper and fitted out by Bridge House Marina. The fit out is lovely, Maple lined ply with Sapele trim. She offers a huge amount of storage and feels very spacious. She has been wonderfully looked after in the 14 years of current ownership, and she benefits from both a blacking and a hull survey in Nov 2019.The well deck has a good condition cratch cover with clear panels and a glazed board, and leads into the huge saloon. This has free standing furniture; two leather captains chairs with footstools, a two seater sofa bed, and an occasional table. The TV/DVD is wall mounted and the solid fuel stove was new in 2017.The walk through galley follows; there are a lot of storage options and room (with power & water access) for a washing machine. The oven and grill are eye level above the 12v fridge/freezer, and the microwave is above the oven. The sink and gas hob are on the starboard side next to the side hatch, and cupboards and work surfaces are opposite. The bathroom is accessed from the portside corridor. The loo is a Thetford cassette and the ceramic basin sits over a good sized cupboard. The tiled shower cubicle has a bi-fold door and a light and extractor over, and there is a heated towel rail. The bedroom is next and has a very easily erected cross bed with storage under. There is an abundance of cupboard/wardrobe space, and a dressing table/desk sits against the aft bulkhead.Steps lead out of the bedroom onto the rear deck. She is propelled by the reliable Beta 43. On board 230v is from either landline or the 2.5kw Victron inverter, and the bank of 5 domestic batteries provide the 12v power. She is centrally heated by the Webasto diesel fired boiler, and hot water is from either the engine, the webasto or the immersion heater (when on landline). She is in lovely condition and is ready for immediate occupation whether it be for living aboard or extended cruising.
